Where it started
Sleeper was founded in 2022 by a father whose sons were into scootering. He looked at what was out there, figured they could do better, and started building. The goal was simple: make better scooters.

Years of refinement
Each Sleeper deck has gone through years of development and testing. Weight, balance, feel, strength improvements without adding weight are features of all Sleeper decks.
Nothing ships until it holds up under real riding conditions. Precision testing is part of the process, not an afterthought.
Decks first
Right now, Sleeper is focused on doing one thing well: decks. The current lineup has two options. The Bullet is a street and hybrid deck, 5 inches wide. The V2 is park-focused, at 4.5 inches wide.
Starting here lets us put the most time into what matters most. Decks are the foundation of every setup, and getting that right is what everything else builds on.
In the scene
Sleeper has sponsored the FRS NZ Nationals and Oceania championships every year since they began.
Alongside the major comps, Sleeper supports local jams and stays involved in the scene at every level.
The Sleeper team
Sleeper's team is made up of competitive, fast-progressing riders. They have won multiple titles at NZ National and Oceania championships and finished in the top 10 riders of the last 2 World Skate Scooter events held in Spain and Japan. The team riders ride the product hard and their input shapes how Sleeper keeps continually upping the game.
