Sleeper is back, and ready to change the game.

Sleeper is back, and ready to change the game.

Sleeper is back. Deck-first, for now.

Sleeper’s officially relaunching.

Same brand, same mission, but with a sharper focus, two decks, dialled in, in stock, ready to ride.

If you’ve been around NZ scootering for a while, you already know Sleeper’s been part of the scene for years. This relaunch is about getting back to what matters most, building gear that helps you ride better, and backing riders and events properly.

What’s new, the Sleeper Collectible Card (monthly drop)

Every deck order during the relaunch window includes a limited-time metal collectible card.

  • One new card design each month
  • Numbered (so it’s actually collectible)
  • QR-linked to your deck registration and warranty
  • Built to become your key to a future Sleeper portal (member drops, early access, rider content)

Right now, the QR takes you to a welcome page and a hub where you can find out all info about your deck. Later, that same card will unlock more.

Keep it in your wallet, keep it in your tool bag, keep it mint. It’s proof you were here at the start of the relaunch.

Why we’re deck-first

We’re going deck-first because decks are the foundation of your setup.

When you’ve got a deck that feels right, everything else gets easier. Landings feel more stable, manuals feel more locked, and you don’t have to fight your scooter to get tricks clean.

Keeping the range tight also means we can do the important stuff properly, keep stock in NZ, ship fast, and support riders without messing around.

We’ll expand again. This is just the cleanest way to relaunch without noise.

Built for park and street, with the right sizing

We’re relaunching with two decks because most riders fall into one of two lanes.

V2 (park-focused)

Park setups usually lean narrower and lighter so the deck swings faster for whips, spins, and quick rotations.

Bullet (park/street/hybrid, 5 wide)

Street and hybrid setups usually lean wider for more foot space and balance, plus stability on manuals and landings.

That’s the simple version. If you want the quick answer, hit the Deck Finder on the site and it’ll point you to the right one.

The engineering part (without the fluff)

These decks weren’t made in a weekend.

They’ve been refined over years, with real testing around strength in the spots decks usually fail, weight distribution so it feels balanced (not dead), and reinforcement where it actually matters (not random extra weight).

It’s the kind of work you only notice when you ride it. The deck just feels right.

Backing the scene

We’ve supported NZ scootering for years, and we’re backing the World Skate Oceania Championship this year at Bay Skate (Napier).

We’ve also got riders who’ve competed at WorldSkate Worlds and major events. This brand has always been built around the sport, not just the product.

How to get the card

The collectible card is included with every deck order during the monthly drop window.

When that month’s drop ends, the design is retired and the next one begins.

If you want the Version 1 card, now’s the time.
