Why are they so good?

The BiggO H I SIX Classic runs with 6 ball bearings, not 7 smaller ones as most other bearings do. As the balls are larger they can handle higher impacts and more side pressure than standard 7 ball bearings. Lubricated with bearing grease means they are also more resistant to water, dirt and dust contamination. They'll run faster and smoother for longer.

All wheels come with bearings preinstalled and many of those bearings are low quality as they are easily overlooked. Don't be fooled by the "Abec Rating" of other bearing brands, the Abec rating does not relate to roller sports at all as it doesn't cover either vertical or side impact strength - two very critical parts of a roller sports bearing. In our development stage we tested 100's of bearings, through that process we found the best manufacturer and customised the BiggO specifications to create the best bearing you will find preinstalled in any scooter wheel. Where did the name BiggO bearings come from? Probably a question nobody will ask but it's an important one to us. They're named after a friend who passed way to early, he was as humble as he was generous and just one of those people who the world needs more of. His name is Wayne Biggs, also known as Biggsy or BiggO. He loved scooters too, although his was a beautiful orange Vespa! He's even got his own Doco, clink the here for a snippet of the man himself.
